Grayson Waller def. Asher hale

In an encounter that was certainly not lacking in trash talk mid-game, Grayson Waller improved to 2-0 at the purple mark while handing Asher Hale his second straight loss.

Hale staggered his biggest opponent as the fight spread to the ring, hitting Waller with a flying knee from the apron and sending him crashing to the ring floor.

However, Waller rallied in time to drop Hale neck on the top rope before landing a stunner and stomp for 1-2-3.

Waller clapped for Hale and reached out to give him a handshake after the fight. However, when Hale tried to accept, Waller yanked his arm back, exited quickly, and danced his way back up the ramp.

Ikemen defeat Jiro. Tony nese

During a backstage confrontation between August Gray and Ariya Daivari earlier in the day, The Persian Lion promised to help himself get a ring view of his teammate’s fight. Gray, however, seemed to prompt him to watch from backstage when he wondered aloud if Daivari didn’t believe Tony Nese could defeat Ikemen Jiro on his own, setting the stage for a true one-on-one battle.

The Premier Athlete made no attempt to hide his contempt for the eccentric Jiro, pulling him off the mat by his hair and taunting Jiro by putting on a jacket in the middle of the match.

Jiro, who once again wore his own jacket from bell to bell, responded with a volley of stiff forearms, a kick to the jaw, and a senton bomb that yielded a count of two.

Nese appeared to be closing in on a victory after a hurricanrana on the top rope, but Jiro narrowly kicked and remained undefeated at 205 Live after landing with the Ikemen Slash, a penalty kick to the head.
