Watchwrestling – Bobby Lashley and Kofi Kingston set for WWE Title clash at WWE Money in the Bank

Watch Wrestling WWE News: WWE Champion Bobby Lashley vs. Kofi Kingston

Bobby Lashley closed the door on a former champion at WWE Hell in a Cell, but another has his sights on The All Mighty at WWE Money in the Bank. Lashley will go head-to-head with Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship against the WWE Universe in Fort Worth, Texas on Sunday, July 18.

Fresh off a WWE Hell in a Cell title win over Drew McIntyre, Lashley faced a challenge from The New Day fighter. The WWE Champion accepted on one condition: Lashley demanded a Hell in a Cell showdown with Xavier Woods. The night at the red mark closed with Woods making a valiant effort, but Lashley unleashed a final crushing assault inside the closed doors of the steel frame that left his opponent bruised and beaten.

Kingston already has a win over Lashley on Raw with a timely assist from McIntyre, but at WWE Hell in a Cell he will have to do it alone with Woods excluded from ringside after his loss at the hands of The All. Powerful.

Will Woods’s brutal beating serve as a warning? Or will Kingston shock the world and usher in a new era of KofiMania?

Don’t miss the WWE title showdown at WWE Money in the Bank on Sunday, July 18, broadcast at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT exclusively on Peacock in the United States and WWE Network in the rest of the world.
