Watch Wrestling WWE News: Raw results, June, 21, 2021: Bobby Lashley goes to Hell and back again with punishing win over Xavier Woods

WWE Champion Bobby Lashley messaged his challenger, and the WWE Money in the Bank qualification began tonight at the red mark.

While The All Mighty Champion and MVP were ready to raise their glasses, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods broke up the party with their own challenges. Kingston set up a showdown with Lashley for the WWE title at WWE Money in the Bank and the incumbent requested the opportunity to silence Woods later that night inside Hell in a Cell.

A high-flying showdown between AJ Styles and Ricochet determined the first participant in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. With Ricochet on the mat, the Viking Raiders stormed in to bring chaos to proceedings. After Erik and Ivar sent Omos flying through the barricades, Ricochet regrouped and countered a phenomenal forearm for the shocking victory.

Eva Marie’s dominant cohort became known as Doudrop before the match, but Asuka and Naomi were determined to spoil her big reveal. Doudrop was forced to do most of the heavy lifting at first, but Eva Marie tried to get in to steal the glory with Naomi in the square circle. After The Glow kicked, Marie searched for a panic tag, but Doudrop walked away from her partner, allowing Naomi to get the cumulative victory.

With a “bravely” injured Miz joining him in the ring, John Morrison was looking to earn his way back into the spotlight of the WWE title image. Things looked bleak for Johnny Drip Drip after Orton smashed him against the announce table. As The Viper stalked prey from him, chaos broke out from The A-Lister’s Drip Stick attack, and Riddle’s trip to the ring allowed Morrison to hit a Starship Pain for another surprising surprise.

Nikki Cross embodied a whole new spirit in the red brand and returned to the twisted world of her old friend Alexa Bliss in hopes of defeating Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax for Money in the Bank opportunities. Bliss’s gaze put Reginald into a trance during the match, and a close slap from The Irresistible Force caused the pair to leave The Queen of Spades behind. Left to fend for herself, Cross leapt into action and overwhelmed Baszler for victory.

The battle scars of his journey to Hell were still evident on Drew McIntyre, but The Scottish Warrior still tried to persevere past Riddle to earn a spot in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. McIntyre bravely overcame the pain, but The Viper’s appearance on the ramp seemed to reinvigorate the Original Brother, who continued to kick from an all-out assault. After a seemingly endless series of crushing blows, Riddle rolled up McIntyre and clung to surprise.

Bobby Lashley entered Hell in a Cell for the second time in 24 hours in an attempt to silence Xavier Woods and send a message to his WWE Money in the Bank opponent. The All Mighty Champion flexed his muscles with displays of brute strength, but Woods fought back by striking his opponent with a steel chair, a Kendo stick, and an elbow across a table. When it appeared that the WWE Champion had run out of strength, Lashley struck a crushing Spear on Woods and held onto the Hurt Lock long after MVP slammed the doors to the steel frame with chains.
