Tonight, Rey Mysterio is ready to challenge Universal Champion Roman Reigns in the first ever Hell in a Cell of SmackDown! Additionally, Kevin Owens and Big E will fight Apollo Crews and Commander Azeez, Shinsuke Nakamura to face King Corbin in a Battle for the Crown and Angelo Dawkins will seek revenge against Otis. Rey Mysterio is seeking retaliation against Universal Champion Roman Reigns for the attacks The Head of the Table unleashed on him and his son Dominik, and is unwilling to wait for WWE Hell in a Cell. He wants Reigns tonight on SmackDown.

Thirsty for revenge, The Master of the 619 sent out a tweet Thursday night setting the challenge to The Big Dog for the blue mark.

Reigns also agreed on Twitter, making it clear that if Rey wants the showdown on Friday night, he would only advance the schedule to dishonor what’s left of Mysterio’s last name.

As a result, the leaders of two of WWE’s most iconic families will go to battle for the Universal Title on SmackDown within the dreaded structure two days earlier.

The elderly Mysterio faced the Chief of the Table on SmackDown after the Universal Champion’s brutal attack on his son Dominik. Father and son launched a Kendo stick attack from which Reigns narrowly escaped. The Mysterios have carried a goal on their back as SmackDown Tag Team Champions, but the father-son duo always face the battle shoulder to shoulder.
